The Story.
How It Started
I've been around since Yahoo! was on Stanford's server. After getting my degree in TV/Film I had to figure out what to do with life. As luck would have it I took a class in school learning HTML and Photoshop. No clue that it would change my trajectory but my first job was at CNN. We built the site from the ground up and launched it during the wild wild west days of the internet. Started out doing front-end code and markup until I realized I had a knack for organizing information and "client-speak," taking their requirements and making design decisions based on those.
The field did what it did and my titles reflect that - Web Producer, Information Architect, Interactive Strategist, UI Designer, Interaction Designer... all the way up to User Experience. And here we are.
I work across the whole process. From ideation to launch. And beyond. When a company is truly Agile the project is never done, so neither am I.
